I knew of one song he did with Beck (‘Pullin’ Up Roots’), we decided to go because description of him was wicked and evil, he was a good DJ—Metallica, new wave—and it turned out he was an even better rapper, gothic men with black fingernails should not rap, show was entertaining for its uniquity, ended up being disturbing because he was clearly mentally unstable (thus genius) or at least horribly miserable, and though he clearly hated us (the crowd) he seemed slavishly hungry for our worship or was trying really hard to promote his albums by throwing them into the crowd, and pouring beer from a pitcher into upturned mouths

oh my god they sucked ass, interesting concept—three prog guitarists with a cheerleader hip-hop girl and a gawky girl, high energy and no grab, they had their 70s moments I guess and the prog without hip-hop girl was fine but overall just CRAP

fantastic!, cutey girl in a retro dress—I was embarrassed at her leaping and little-girl antics but it proved infectious and punkish, happy guitarist but freakishly happy drummer staring and smiling broadly in her little boy hair cut with ear curls, great variety, beautiful voice, rocking guitar and drums, interesting and entertaining and captivating, different, new wave says Rockboy but then more, from Australia, fantastic!

screaming thrash metal from skinny fey boys, very odd, singer was thrashing so much in his audience of two that he nearly lost them, when the chaos would stop he would adopt a very gay persona, there was something artsy about them

Rockboy was so excited to see this shticky punk band, they dress Clockwork Orange style with the lead in white face paint but unfortunately their depth ends there, I am apparently not a fan of “anthemic” “oi! Punk”—how is it punk to sing en masse to lame lyrics?—i hate solidarity of any kind…in brief
