This was the only date on which Travis did not open for Dido and Emiliana Torrini was not a consolation. She came out in a wedding dress and did a very bad Icelandic on acid impersonation.

Dido’s set was spellbinding. These were free tickets for us, and I had very little expectations. First and foremost, I was amazed at how many Dido songs had radio play and were familiar to me. She has a DJ on stage and a huge backing band and her concert was a techno dance remix of her songs without sacrificing her best asset, her voice.
